Follow these simple steps to explore and analyze water transparency in Lake Rukwa using Google Earth Engine.
Use the Draw Polygon Layer map tools to draw your custom area of interest around Lake Rukwa.
Choose the start date and end date for the period you want to analyze.
Choose between available sensors:
• Landsat (1995 – 2014)
• Sentinel-2 (2015 – 2026)
Click the "Compute Water Transparency" button and wait a few moments while the system processes the satellite data.
Explore the generated maps. Use the layer button (top right) to switch between different visualization layers.
Download the results as images, CSV files, or reports for your research or documentation.
